People now days are so conscious with their budgets that even ads are not getting clicked anymore! Those who used to pay $99 for stupid get rich e-books have somehow disappeared from our planet and moved on…

Cashing in on the Internet a few years back was child’s play. In a couple of days you could slap a website together and be making money within weeks. Times are rough, times have changed!

There still are many websites who promise to make you rich, but the schemes in use remain unchanged. Here’s a quick rundown at your options:

The MLM option is one that never goes away. Disguised in one way or another, the basics still remain the same. Buy something for a fee, and then get others to do the same. Everyone will share a piece of the pie, while the owner gets the biggest piece.

Other old concepts still in play are the get paid for… answering surveys, clicking ads, reading emails and my favorite: stuffing envelopes! Why would anyone pay you to stuff envelopes when there are machines that can stuff thousands of envelopes per hour? Anyway, none of these schemes are really worth your time!

Let us not forget those thousands of e-books out there promising to make you rich through adwords and affiliate programs. Only those selling these books might make a dollar or two, you probably will not.

The most recent money making opportunity to rise from the pack is hosting your own blog site. Of course this means you’ll need to take time off your busy schedule to write articles. Most blog sites are monetized via advertising, which means that several years from now you could have made $10. Of course, getting those ten bucks may be harder that it seems since most advertising companies have a minimum payment threshold, usually $50.

So, how do you make money on the Internet?

It is really easy when you have unlimited financial resources. Get some programmers, graphic designers and marketing gurus. If you’re broke like the rest of us, you may not like the answer. To make money from the Web, it takes an incredible amount of hard work, dedication and most importantly… patience!
